Meet the Winemaker:
Carmen von Nell-Breuning
Join us for a special evening with Dr. Carmen von Nell-Breuning, winemaker and head of Weingut von Nell-Breuning, one of the oldest family wineries on the Mosel - with more than 350 years of history.
The evening will start with a short interview with Dr. von Nell-Breuning about her family, the winery, and the art of winemaking.
After that, we’ll enjoy a guided tasting of several of her wines, each paired with small dishes from the Schou kitchen.
We’ll explore five wines from the Ruwer valley, beginning with a refreshing Pinot Noir Rosé and moving through a selection of Rieslings that range from crisp and dry to softly fruity.
Expect aromas that evolve from wild berries and herbs to citrus, slate minerality, and ripe stone fruit - a full sensory journey through freshness, depth, and balance.
Each wine reflects the cool climate and slate soils of this unique region, showing how delicacy and character can beautifully coexist in the glass.
Please note: cancellations are only possible up to 3 days before the event.
